Some people should just not own reptiles of any kind.. Even if this was a part of some kind of elaborate acid trip free range sticking two different species together like that is just asking for trouble..
Ok im gonna pick up a couple and see how things go i always figured within reason if it were safe for people it would be safe for chams the thorns on the lemon tree i could see being a problem but im going to de thorn them and rinse them off thoughly before i let a cham climb around in them just...
Might take time for him to warm up to you, some never do and never will regardless of how much time you take trying to get them used to you some of them will puff hiss and lunge at you until you get them out of their enclousres then its a different story they mellow out and its happy go lucky...
Anyone ever use eureka lemon trees for free ranges or inside a screen cage ? the nursery in my area got a bunch in and i noticed 2 things , 1 this thing has some sparce thorns no big deal a pair of finger nail clippers can fix that 2 there is no information on wether or not this thing is toxic...
ok ive seen this tag before but cant remeber what the posts said, my panther never did or ive never seen him do this until this morning when i came in to check on him and i see him gnawing on a repti vine i freaked out grabbed the misting bottle and misted him (he hates being misted) so he...
12 hours of light 12 hours of dark :) , if its really getting that cold where you are the ceramic heat emitters are the way to go , just make sure its not in direct contact with the cage and that if your cham gets out he cant climb into it ( they give a nasty burn)
hibiscus are also another good choice if the cham eats any it is 100% safe the downside is that they are kind of hard to take care of and they useally dont survive the winters any lower than 35 degrees it kills them unless you bring them indoors another one i like are dwarf banana...
ever try making ice cubes from filtered water and putting them ontop of the cage and letting them melt ? i do this along with misting even though my panther doesnt really care for it , seems to like the " rain " from the ice cubes
twist ties with the paper pulled off is what i usually use too ,ive taken branches from the yard and baked them cut them to size and wedged them into the screen cage and pushed thumb tacks into the ends of the branch to secure it
it will take time before he/she gets used to you some will be mellow right from the begining others will take a few weeks or months some dont mellow out at all becareful with the outdoor free range i know alot of people do this with zero problems but if you live in an area that has alot of...
