I got him last week... I've also seen him bulge his throat when he's basking, I guess it's normal

Does anyone know what does it mean when a baby chameleon shows his/her dark green patters on their back? I've seen mine do it when he's walking on the vines.. he starts to show the dark green patterns on his back for a min or so.. and just curious if it means something, or when he is turning brown..

this crickets aren't that fast, but they just go to the bottom of the cage.. and last time I tried to cup feed, he just walked away from the cup to the my arm

anyone knows how long do the new chameleons have to settle in and get used to their new environment, before you can take them outside and enjoy a 30min - 1hour of fresh air?

Yea, I've dusted the pinhead crickets when I'm about to feed him, guess I should start looking for fruit flies and add a new menu for him! :D

Mine wasn't shipped... I got him at an exotic pet store in here. Also I've seen him eat 2 bugs the other day and drink some water (not a lot though), but I'm guessing its a good sign that he eats and drinks some?

And why is that? Do they take even longer to get use to their new environments?
