my chameleon is sleeping attached to the side screen...
he looks peaceful ..but I have never seen this before.. so it worries me..
I was going to try to move him but he is latched on tight.. and he is getting mad as hell when I touched him.. I really dont want to move him when he is sleeping...

what is the night time temp? unless the room and his cage is 50 to 55.. you dont need any night time heat..
75 is too hot at night.. with no heat..I keep mine at 65 to 70 at night.. 75 to 80 ambient during the day..
with a zoomed 100 watt bulb backed away.. his basking area gets at around 90...
I just got in a shipment of phoenix worms and they sent me mediums even though I ordered large.. but it might be a blessing in disguise because large are at the end of there life.. does any one no how long it takes for them to grow? or at what rate? and how would I tell if the calcium without...
so don't let that person discourage you.. if you want a chameleon, do your research and listen what the people on this forum tell you.. they no there stuff.

no.. the soil never stays wet for that long.. its always flushed out.. I see them every now and then.. maybe one every couple of weeks.. but it is very rare..
I would give the male vit. with beta carotene only once every other week.. that is good only in small doses.. an the female will need more calcium if she is eggbound.. but I am no expert on female husbandry.. check brad ramseys sight it is the best info I have seen..
once a week on the multi vit with beta carotene.. d3 2 times a week and calcium without d3 2 times a week. is the usual.. but the multi vitamin no more then once a week.. this is very critical to healthy chameleon husbandry .. over supplements is worst then too little supplements..
