at least im not the only one! Thank for the advice I will be trying that one tomorrow. I thought about calling them and asking what happened but if all goes well I will use these adults to my advantage and try to start a colony!
Okay my room get cold so my feeders die off easily which costs a lot of money, so I bought a heat pad and was going to put it in the container. Then an idea struck me what if I build a small cabinet to hold the feeders and the mist reservoir and have the heat pad in there along the back to keep...
From many of the videos I watched and things I looked up they look like full grown adults or fairly close, it would be a bigger deal if he had nothing to eat but with horn worms butterworms and silk worms he will be fine. I will still try to feed him the smaller ones to see if I can start a...
It is possible I read it wrong from the website but when it came to order specs I asked for medium roaches for a juvenile. This was just to see if he would eat them so they weren't much.
When I say how big they were I thought colony as well! I am going to try that next I did it with a hornworm as well but he ignored it. I have some silk worms as well so we are going to try and get him to enjoy something.
So i ordered some roaches to see if my little man will eat them and possibly enjoy them. I got my package and thought it would be small to medium sized nymphs, unfortunately they were big roaches close to 2 inches long and I have no idea what to do to see if he will like them. I happened to find...
Okay I want to thank everyone for their help, I spent today going to different plant stores and looking for something nice. I came across the schefflera gold capella. It worked the way I wanted it to and here is the picture of the enclosure with it.
I know and thank you! I'm just trying to figure out what to do because I'm out looking now and there is no other schefflera or plant with enough foliage.
It was crocky and this is what they said
Pics of you enclosure look great. Wow, that is a lot of light! What size enclosure is that?
Just a note, it looks like you have a schefflera actinophylla, these are not on the plant safe list. It is the schefflera arboricola that is smaller leafed...
I recently bought a plant from my local Lowes and all it said was schefflera and now I am being told it may be toxic. My chameleon doesn't eat plant he only drinks from the leaves should it still be removed. the plant can be seen here...
As promised I am adding pictures of the enclosure I finished.
Sorry about the lights I happened to take the picture when all of them turned on. But as you can see I have dowels in there instead of branches from outside which are held by tacks on the side. Then I have some foliage...
For one I have redone my little mans cage and I have everyone to thank from what I have seen here. You guys gave me so much inspiration and helped me accomplish what I did. Of course I assume you will want to see pictures but that will sadly have to wait until tomorrow:D. But while I was out...
I am trying different feeders with my chameleon and I hope he likes them so I can start a colony of roaches. While looking up information I see a 1 male to 5-10 female, along with egg crates standing and heat from 85-90 degrees. right now with it being winter it is cold so a heat pad would be...
