Finished cage and some questions

For one I have redone my little mans cage and I have everyone to thank from what I have seen here. You guys gave me so much inspiration and helped me accomplish what I did. Of course I assume you will want to see pictures but that will sadly have to wait until tomorrow:D. But while I was out buying supplies I bought a heat mat to provide the right temp for the roaches i ordered. while opening the package I looked through the instructions and it says not to put on plastic surfaces and I planned on putting it and them in a rubbermaid container. I have seen that other people have done this before but I wanted to get some opinions. For anyone wondering it is a reptitherm U.T.H. by zoomed if anyone can shed some light on this I would be very grateful!

I took the cloth cover from a heating pad I had and placed it on top of the heat mat. I also put a hand towel between, this way the plastic tub doesn't get too hot.

As promised I am adding pictures of the enclosure I finished.

Sorry about the lights I happened to take the picture when all of them turned on. But as you can see I have dowels in there instead of branches from outside which are held by tacks on the side. Then I have some foliage on the sides to help maintain humidity. The plants you see are one schefflera and one pothos. You can see the mist nozzle on the right side this belongs to the mistking and goes off around every two hours. he has one basking bulb and three branches to decide what temp he would like. The back and both sides are covered with plastic and with what I have observed his humidity will be around 40% in the morning until his first mist which will take it to 70% it will slowly drop back to 40% then the next mist starts. The hood that is causing the glare you see has four lights (from arcadia), I have two go on in the morning one is UVB the other is 6.5k then around noon the other two go on (6.5k as well) until 5 when they turn off. The last two remain on until 10 minutes before light out. I would like to know what you guys think!

Pics of you enclosure look great. Wow, that is a lot of light! What size enclosure is that?
Just a note, it looks like you have a schefflera actinophylla, these are not on the plant safe list. It is the schefflera arboricola that is smaller leafed that is on the safe plant list. Just wanted to give you a heads up. Love the horizontal highways :)

It's a 2x2x4. Thanks for the heads up I wish they would label these better it said nothing more just schefflera.
