Has anyone ever had powder orange isopods cause harm to their chameleon? I am currently working on growing out and establishing a bioactive enclosure. The enclosure will remain uninhabited until this ecosystem has become well established. But I have seen a few threads discussing how protein...
Does anyone know exactly what dangers can be caused by a chameleon injesting fertilized soil? Usually I re pot and cover soil with rocks or screen but I bought a new plant yesterday and didnt cover it right away. And I caught her sshooting her tongue right at the dirt. I finally took care of the...
I am wanting to buy a UV meter and after doing some searching, ive seen them anywhere from $30 to $180+. Before I purchased one of these I was hoping for some advice or recommendations as to what an acceptable price or product would be. Any input is always much appreciated
Do different species of roaches have much of a difference in nutirional variety? If so is it enough of a variety to make breeding something other than the dubias worth it? Thanks in advance.
Are there any tips or links to threads that can be of help trying to introduce fruit to my veiled? As of now ive just shown it to her but she doesnt seem too pleased with me when I do so.
This may be too soon to start worrying but it may have been a couple days since ges pooped. I noticed near his vent was a little crusty. Brushed it off. But now im concerned and wondering if there could be something wrong. Aside from not finding very much poop in the cage hes is completely...
I caught a bunch of these at the lale today. I was reading some threads that were talking about potentially toxic grasshoppers so I wanted to make sure these looked alright. I will be keeping them for about a week before feeding so I can gutload and get rid of some risks.
Hopefully a bug expert can tell ke if this spider is poisonous and how it possibly got here. I keep my crickets separated by size...each in their own 27 gallon bin with locking lids and screened cutout on top. The screens are secured with hot glue with absolutely no access in or out. Onpy time...
I am trying to see if there is a way to move the silkworms without manually moving each one. The setup im using is a large, shallow, tupperware with plastic canvas at the bottom. I have extra canvas cutouts that ive been switching daily when I change out any chow that has not been eaten. But...
I finally ordered some silks and plan to attempt to breed them. My question is when should I switch them into a larger container? It says when they start to over crowd to petri dish. But to me they look overcrowed already.
A couple of times I have glanced over to see each of my baby panthers firing up and opening their mouth real wide. It almost looked as if they were practicing. None of my chams can see each other from their cage either
