Last time I posted I shared pics of Shy and his malformed casque. A full body shot followed and there was some concern that he may have MBD. Since then I have worked with him daily, sunning, feeding him a variety of food, monitoring his stress level and making sure his supplements were...
I'm using a 2.0 UVB 18" tube bulb and Rep-Cal Calcium with vit D3. Should I dust for every meal? It has been about 3 weeks since I first noticed slight rumpling of his casque.
I do take him outside 2-3x week for 15-30 minutes with a shade area. I'm lost and worried

This guy is about 3 1/2 months old. In the past few weeks I noticed his casque starting to look rumpled or dry..not sure what you would call it. Can I get a lil help with this.
Thx

1,000 lasted 2.5 weeks. I use the sponge and clean it daily.
They also get veggies daily and I remove the old food.
Who do you buy crickets from?? I have been buying from Armstrong and I am looking for a new supplier.

Yep, I bought 1,000 3 weeks ago and some lived but most died. Green veggies, cricket food, sponge for a water source.
Secure cool area, to keep them from growing 2 quick, egg crates...blah blah blah...time to buy more. When can juveniles eat other things like phoenix worms ect ect.

As I surf through the health posts I see many different issues with cham health. How does an apparently healthy cham develop all these different types of sickness? Are they born with this? I know all these things can't be a result of inconsistent cage cleanings. Enlighten me.
Thx

I have a 7 week male veiled cham who I have been putting out in the sun on in temps of 85-90 degrees, for 15-20 minutes 3x a week. I mist him and he turns a beautiful bright green. I am curious about the length of time baby's can be outside to bask? I live in VA.
THX all,
