Except for when an article is wrong. I had to correct an article on a field of math on time (One on Nuclear Physics as well). They screwed up a couple of things... With the more obscure articles like that, mistakes seem more common.
My only concern with moss on the top is the potential for them eating it. Perhaps that is not a danger (I suppose it depends on the type of moss too, I would be less worried about carpet moss and more worried about sphagnum).
Im not completely clear on what it is you are asking? Are you asking if you should change out the soil in your pot plants that are in your chameleon cage or put moss on top instead?
(Are you sure putting pot plants in with your chameleon is a good idea?)
Just to be clear, did you just get Vitamin powder? Or did you get a Calcium power as well? Vitamin powder and Calcium powder are two different things. You need both.
I have yet to care for a Jackson's. I read here that they can be more challenging as they are much more sensitive to humidity and such. Veileds are more forgiving of less than ideal humidity. In their native habitat (In Yemen/Saudi Arabia) they have grown accustomed to fluctuations in...

There is also the ethical dilemma of having pulled wild animals out of the wild. If we assume that having chameleons in captivity is a good thing and in some way beneficial to them, then the question becomes (in my mind)- How many chameleons do we really need to establish a good captive...
Peta does euthanize animals, this is true. Peta has very very different standards though. I am not saying I agree or disagree with Peta euthanizing animals. Frankly, I am a bit skeptical that they really euthanize MOST of their animals BEFORE even trying to adopt them (care to provide a...
Ok well, I watched about 2 minutes of it (until the forced mating) and that was enough for me.
Not shopping at Petsmart ever again.
Come on really? Forcing rabbits to mate? What the heck?! Isn't there a government agency that is supposed to be protecting these animals?! SOB!
Stuff like...
