his eye is permanently closed, and sunken too. some days it stays open, then closes again for days at a time. that's the best description i can give you.
assuming it is conjunctivitis perhaps relating to the light, or to irritation, or allergy, it should not be life-threatening should it?
what...
my local pets store has a poorly ambilobe chameleon with conjunctivitis which he has had for 2 weeks. they're willing to let him go to me very cheap (£50) and i'd like to get him out of that poor situation. they will not take him to a vet or anything.
how is it treated? is it life-threatening...
dude, your whole tone is just awful.
this might be the internet, but this is not /b/ or sherdog, it's a cham care forum for helpful, constructive, thoughtful posts intended to politely assist in a humble and pro-active manner.

at this moment, no, thanks.
i e-mailed tikitikireptiles.com re: their cricket crack to find out if they ship to the uk. if they do, i'll buy a couple bags/tubs and try to get a more thorough mix in my gut-load.
as olimpia so well put it, i'd rather they thrive than just survive.
the biggest problem for me is that i don't drive, i tend to go shopping once a month and most of these items won't last.
the only things from the list that my local shop (within walking distance) provides is collard greens, carrots, kale, oranges, apples, and strawberries.
i'm gonna find a...
i'm going to pop to my local wholefoods store and see if i can grab some dry gutload ingredients.
in accordance with this supplement, what fresh food gut-load would you recommend?
when i get home (about 5 hours time) from work i'll post a close-up photo of the precise ingredients/nutritional analysis.
thanks for your help.
i'm in the uk too, so to get some of that cricket crack i need a member in the uk.
know of any?
i have a female panther and a female veiled. i've owned the veiled for a few months now and got the panther last weekend.
the veiled must be 8 months old or so, the panther i'm not so sure... 4-6?
i gut-load my crickets & locusts with apples/oranges once a week, and collard greens a couple...
my female veiled is just the same. as soon as i go near her she's climbing out onto me, up my arm, sitting on my shoulder, climbing my head. she'll sit with me whilst i'm watching tv and just walk around the sofa then come back and always seems to settle for my head as a perch.
i hand fed her...
wow...
you have given your cham 6 days!!!???
they can take weeks to adjust... a couple weeks just to get used to their enclosure alone, then months to come to recognize you as safe. then sometimes, after a year of being tame and approachable, they can decide at the drop of a hat that they hate...
just grabbed this little'un. i already have a female veiled.
store told me due to the slight bulge/lump at the base of the tail, it could be a male, but the coloration to me suggest female. then again, i've had folk tell me they've had males retain this coloring up until about 8-12 months...
