Demanding Panther Chameleon

I think id be mentally scarred for life if i googled it! haha.
They do dont they?
Do your pygmies have tails? I dont think they do, they seem sorta... weird to me. cool, but weird. not sure id want one, but gimme time, ya never know.
whats a mug?
I bet she is, she thinking i havem trained!!!!! muwaahah, i rule the house! I am queen cham hear me... hiss? lol

I am lol.

They have stump tails so they look really weird but cute in an odd way. I have a trio. I haven't had them long and I know they have a very poor survival rate plus they are short lived so I do worry about them. I look after them really well and that's all I can do I guess.

A mug over here means a fool. :) I just told her what you said and she just gave me a look lol. It's not even that sunny any more but she continues to sit there looking into the garden.

Ah haa. got it. interesting.

my guys the same. I find that if I leave his cage door open he likes to sit and watch over his jungle (the apartment). So I leave the door open pretty much all the time I'm home. Its funny cause hell bend a branch at night so he's hanging a bit out of the enclosure and falls asleep lol. looks awesome to see him so close at night when hes got his PJ's on

Lol, I daren't do that because of the dogs. I could shut the door but I'd be checking on her every 5 mins and never get anything done. I go back to work tomorrow after a couple of weeks off so she'll have to cope during the day. I can see my evenings are going to be even more busy. Thank god she goes to bed at 8 lol. I've put her back now but I could tell she wasn't amused. :)

my female veiled is just the same. as soon as i go near her she's climbing out onto me, up my arm, sitting on my shoulder, climbing my head. she'll sit with me whilst i'm watching tv and just walk around the sofa then come back and always seems to settle for my head as a perch.

i hand fed her from very young and she just seems to be very social. as soon as i get home from work and pass her by, she comes running over to the door!

my panther on the other hand hates me! runs from me and hides a lot, but i'm working on the hand-feeding and hopefully in a few months she'll be a little more easy-going once she starts to associate me with dinner-time properly.

my veiled camo and my panther gizmo are both like this.. they have plexiglass doors on their cges and as soon as i get home they both down at the door pawing at it and looking at me like "plz dad can i come out"
soo cute i love em

Volkswagen link? I was expecting a link on a new study explaining how they love to be handled or something, haha! :p

Lol, I clicked on the link thinking the same thing. :D

The weather is changing here quite rapidly and the nights are drawing in. I'm worried about how I can entertain Mia as she likes to sit in the window looking out into the garden but she won't be able to do that after I get back from work once the nights evenings get dark sooner. :(

My female (approx 6 months old) Nosy Faly Panther has started to become quite demanding. When I open the door to her cage for any reason she rushes over to climb out and she makes me feel guilty if I don't get her out all the time. She seems to really enjoy just sitting in my hand or on the window sill in a plant but I have to supervise her all the time for obvious reasons. Is it normal for them to be so friendly and so attention seeking? I spend plenty of time with her but I also have many other pets and tanks. I absolutely adore her but she is making me feel quite guilty for not getting her out 'every' time I go near her. :)

You realize now that guilt is how a cham runs your life. She may just not like her cage now that she knows there's a bigger space outside it. A bigger cage would solve part of the problem.

Lol. She's just gone into a bigger cage. :)
