i go to home depot every single fall, and buy afew hundred dollars worth of plants. In the fall they have a big clearout, you can get large weeping figs for 50 bucks, pothos for 12, and umbrulla plants for 15.
I am looking to add another species of panther chameleons to my breeding collection, and im thinkin masoala panther chameleons. i worked with these in denmark, and i would like to breed them. I have a reliable source to import them, but im not sure if there is enough of a market. I can get 12...
if you really want them just get some from the UK, or shipped from the wild, i did this, although the shipping is pricy and alot of the WC ones died, it helped get new blood lines. Screameleons has some new bloodlines in the states i think
the yogurt is my way of making the mixture more apetizing for the crested geckos, they will eat more mix, while when its plain they dont eat enough and im forced to feed alot more insects, to keep them healthy. Ive been using the yogurt for just over 1 year now and have had no problems, anthony...
they do generally like mealworms, but they are low in nutrition, and are hard to digest.
i personally dislike mealworms and superworms that i refuse to feed them to any of my lizards. Stick with crickets, silk worms, and butter worms. Your chameleon is fine, if anything its good she doesnt like...
Hello, a friend of mine has been feeding his veiled Crested gecko diet, and although i don't recommend it as a regular diet for chameleons, as a weekly feed, i believe it could have some proper benefits. His veiled seemed not to like the taste, so i thought he should try what i do with my...
they all used to look very different, hundreds of years ago, i bet there was no nosy faly, just nosy be, maybe ambilobe was the result of mixing different locales. I breed my mitsio with my faly and the results are beautiful, i easily sell both males and females to pet stores, perhaps for not as...
i would worry about the silk worms as much as if they were supers, Just do it this way. i put 40% crickets, 40 percent supers, then a variable like locust, butters, etc
ok in the lizard world, superworms is mcdonalds, low nutrition with (Possible) digestion issues. They certainly are not nutritious enough to be a primary feeder. I in fact dislike them so much, i refuse to use superworms or mealworms. I would recommend you stick with crickets as a staple, or if...
Stuff like this is horrible, when i lived in denmark, i saw a situation just like this, and i reported it. The Pet store lost their liscence for reptiles. Denmark is very strict for liscensing and animal care, i wish it was the same here. That is animal cruelty
you can start now, waxworms (on occasion), Butter worms (which are great for calcium), silkworms, even small hornworms. I truly hate mealworms, and superworms. They are low in nutrition, and i wouldnt even suggest feeding for the sake of variety.
