I'm looking to get the best deal on some dubias.
i'd prefer adults in the bundle as well because my chameleon is 2 years old now and i can't be feeding her newborns
you must be willing to ship to illinois, if you live in the northwest suburbs of illinois we could possibly arrange a meet
do chameleons pee? only today have i seen my chameleon do what i imagined was peeing, it was very early and clear liquid was coming out of her behind, this IS pee right? and not some kind of cyst or something
This is regarding dubia roaches, so please help me out.
i don't see a SINGLE adult dubia in my container, no problem. i've had them for over a month now purchased all as tiny little babies. no problem i can wait.
but why are some the same size as when i bought them? is it possible she's...
MAYBE i'm overreacting... but hear me out
i just cleaned EVERYTHING in the chameleons cage, just incase she was discontent. but...
She's been at the bottom of the cage, near the door for awhile now. she only goes back up to sleep or to hunt.
she wont stop trying to climb the mesh. i...
i've had my 500~ nymphs for about a month now. they are in a glass 30x20" reptarium. I'm using one of the zilla heating mats on the side of the glass container, but inside it to keep it warmer. they cant climb it.
i didn't have enough crate to keep it vertically up so i shredded them to like 4...
ok so i ordered 500 nymphs, dubias, that is.
i used to feed adult crickets to my 11 month old veiled, and i stopped because of their odor. Now i'll gutload crickets for 1 day and feed them off once a week or so.
ANYWAY. how many adult crickets should an 11mo old cham eat?
that being...
a good dubia breeding guide, i've googled everywhere. i want a nice setup for my dubias that are coming in TOMMOROW! i'm plannign on passing by a store to get a heat mat, where should i go?
im looking for some feeders in the northwest region of chicago. i live in the suburbs and i'd like to buy some cheap feeders in bulk. and probably keep purchasing regularly if your doing some kind of colony
I would not like to feed her crickets. i'll feed them every now and then. like once a week. but can you please suggest to me something ican feed every day? worms/beetles/ etc
i'm a fan of ant colonys and i've ALWAYS wanted one.
what do u guys think of feeding ants to my cham? i plan on putting them in a dixie cup so she can feast off 'em without them attacking her. any ideas?
my cham eats any veggie and fruit, except so far bannanas she's been terrified of them for some reason.
anyway, what fruits and vegetables can i NOT feed my chameleon? seeing how asking the ones she CAN eat will be a longer list
poop in water is bad, sure. what if i hang the little water dish high and in an area where the cham wont be sitting over it? like way at the top near her basking area? i'd feel safer this way to be honest. this way she'd really be hydrated. say if at any point she had no access to dripping water.
so i got the a-o-k from my mother to make my veileds cage the downstairs bathroom shower.
its not a tub, it's one of those walk in showers. Its about... four times the size of my cage, and much larger upwards. if you guys want exact measurements i can do that, but i was wondering if this is ok...
