One of my panthers turned positive on a fecal for roundwomrs and hookworms. I took him in today for his first panacur dosage, however, the vet said to bring him back until next week for another dose. Is this right? I thought a panacure treatment was for 2-3 consecutive days but I'm not sure...

Why do wild caught chameleons tend to have so many parasites? Is it because of what they eat in the wild? or because they get infected during importation? I've tried searching for some answers but have not found much.
