how did the yucca work for your chameleon?

ive read that yucca's are safe but I didn't know if this type of yucca was safe. Any input would be great

The past 9 months me and my chameleon have constantly fighting his dehydration...his urate was orange....I soak him every other day otherwise his urate changes slowly from white to orange in it. He doesn't get how to drink...he will go to the place where I water him stretch up to reach the top...

I've always battled with getting him to drink but i have found that after he's been asleep for a bit i start spraying for a minute or so and he automatically starts opening his mouth for water!!! this might help someone else.....

panucur did take care of the coxedia but it was used to treat the hookworm he had mass amounts of hookworm and very little coxedia...the larger legged crickets would poke through his poop and also would cause irritation for obvious reasons

how is the chameleon acting? how much pain is he in?

make sure he is not dehydrated as mine would fall because of this. imagine being dehydrated and trying to walk on a branch!!!! a good warm soak helps make sure the temperature is 85 or so so its not a shock

My chameleon would leave blood behind his droppings...definately a sign of parasites!!!!! I brought him to the vet gave a fecal and apparently he has had hookworm and coxedia all his life!!!! the panacur got rid of the problem but make sure you give him lots of water cause the panacur dries them...

Surprisingly chameleons are resilient i would check the guy out to see how he is walking....really a lot of the time dehydration will take care of a lot!! give him a soak once a day!!! You should help him!! Or help the lady which in turn helps the lizard!!! get him some relief!!

What part of maine do you live in? the petco in south portland def has fruitflies! Congratulations on the baby!! If the baby freaks you can always put her back with her mom read the animal don't do something in spite of the obvious!!!
