right now hes in a 18"/12"/30" and im using a reg 60 watt lamp for basking and a 18" reptisun 5.0 uvb. i was thinking do the same on the bigger cage just get just a 100 watt bask lamp and use the same uvb.
ok im getting ready to move my panther chameleon to a 48"/24" enclosure. for the basking bulb i am wanting to use the zoomed powersun 100watt. should i use any other uvb bulb?
well we are planing for a male panther. heres a funny thing. after i post this i went to sleep. i woke up around 2am and our heater in the house was out. everything is fixed heater wise. now the temp is reading around 95 6-7 inches away from the bulb. how close would you say is to close. im a...
Ok I got my enclosure set up the only thing I'm having a problem with is my basking temp. The enclosure is 24"-24"-48" tall I've gone from a 60 watt to a 70 watt now I'm at a 100 watt bulb I've let each bulbs warm up for 2 hours before reading a basking temp. With the 100 watt it will get around...
i think we will hand misting to control the over spray. the habba mister is there for while we are at work. we plan on upgrading the mister in the future. i think personally the little dripper would have been better than the habba mister. i think i might make one.
thats funny. my other hobby is reef keeping, and my wife owns a aquarium store. we noticed that the other night. we are looking into this issue. thank you the input everything helps. what did you do for yours
inside the pot i drilled a hole for a standard 3/4" bulk head. on top of the bulk there is drain screen and on top of that there is a layer of river rock so it drains properly so the plants dont drown, and the soil doesnt constantly stay wet.
we have an aqua globe hiding in there. we mist manualy and there is a habba mister on there. humidity is saying at 50%, also we water the plants manualy. there is also a drain plummed in the bottom for drain off.
