Hey everyone, I have a panther chameleon that is about 4months old. I was wondering what age can you start to identify their locale. I'll attach a pic. It seems he is starting to get a little red around his eyes and the end of his tail. I saw at another pet store at a different location an older...
Alright, I got rid of the bark and put a vinyl floor, this way I can keep it cleaner and he wont accidently eat any. I got a smaller hibiscus I just put in and a dracanea fragans. I made a custom make drip system so it will always keep some water for the little guy. My light isn't a normal...
Thanks for all the help, I have only fed him 1 wax worm and 1 butterworm so far over the past week but bought a bunch so just wanted to make sure so I can make my Cham as healthy as can be. I saw some silkworms and superworms at the petshop but they were like double the size of a butterworm...
Hey,

I think its a twirly, whats the rationale behind why they are discouraged. He gets alot of natural light aswell. Also, The pet store told me to use the bark because it retains moisture. Is this a real problem with chameleons? or just being over-protective?

I recently bought a 3.5 month old amilobe panther chameleon. This is my setup right now, I mostly have fake plants however am putting in a hibiscus. I bought one today but it ended up being to large for the enclosure. I have a small dracaena but the rest is plastic. I was wondering...
When I first got a chameleon I was sold one that ended up being sick, they were not sure what it had and it seems like now they think he may have been born blind. I had a live plant in his cage and after I exchanged the sick one I disinfected everything. I am now looking to put the live plant...
I hope so, What are some of the reasons you guys think he`s a male. I have read so many mixed reviews on how to sex panthers. I`ll layoff on the waxworms, and focus on gut-loaded crickets and track down some superworms
This is my first Cham, I just got him about 4 days ago. I was wondering if you can overfeed him? or will he stop when hes full. He's been eating about 6 crickets, 6 meal worms and 1 waxworm a day. I got him from a local pet store and was told he will have reds, blues and greens. I hope hes a...
