Hello
My terrarium is for a Panther Chameleon dimensions are 48"L x 36"T x 18"W.
This is a completely "fake" interior terrarium (no live plants/real rocks etc.) having said that since it's for a chameleon the only things ON the base of the terrarium is a moss mat and 6 vertical bamboo poles...
Hello
I recently made these Bamboo poles which I fixed with a few coats of super glue to tiles that I plan to put inside the terrarium in order to wrap vines around and interconnect them all to create various vine bridges at variable heights throughout the terrarium.
Plan is to have...
My First Terrarium Setup
Keen to hear what people think of my current list of items that I have mostly purchased so far and to see if I have missed something vital...all of the supplements I have purchased 2 of except for the water conditioner cause I purchased the 2L bottle.

Hello
Due to certain circumstances I am incapable of utilizing a Linear Fluro Light Fixture (long story short - I cannot get it into my country without paying 3x extra the overall cost of the fixture itself, and I do NOT see the linear fluro bulbs surviving the trip themselves).
So I have...
Hello
I'm just tossing a coin over whether or not I should do this cause I don't know if it would be effective...
However what do people usually use for a Chameleon 'Hide Out'?
Do you just create an area with vines/branches that is densely packed with foliage but not so dense that the...
Hello
I'm getting closer and closer to acquiring my first chameleon and I have come across a recommended supplement producer called "Sticky Tongues", has anyone used this before?
Also There are 3 main Supps (Calcium -D3 / Calcium +D3 / MultiVitamin)

Hello
Just wondering if anyone knows of any stores in the Bali, Denpasar area, I know there are stores in Java but I haven't had much luck sourcing anything really in the Denpasar area of Bali.
Hope someone can help
Cheers
Hello
This might sound a little strange however I'm genuinely curious as to whether certain carnivorous plants would be safe with a chameleon?
Before you jump to conclusions there is only 1 type of carnivorous plant that I am looking into and it is the Nepenthes or commonly called...
I just purchased this fan because I have a glass terrarium, the fans aren't powerful but they will provide adequate air movement within the terrarium!
The fans are made by 'BOYU' for aquariums and come in 2 to 6 fan setups this is the 5 fan which should sit neatly along 1 side of my...
Hello
I drew this cage system in MS paint, the general idea is to follow the standard 24x24x48 cage of black aluminum mesh.
One of the most interesting aspects about caring for one or a few chameleons is the climate of where I live which is detailed in the picture of graphs...
Hello
I live on an island where there is excessively little chemical farming (if any to be honest, just because the people are so poor etc).
However there are bugs EVERYWHERE...beetles, crickets, grasshoppers, stick insects preying mantids, millipeds heaps of creepy crawlies in fact at...
Hello
I'm just curious what people on here would consider the best mesh to use when making a terrarium to maximize visibility of things within the cage?
Like for photographing through ?
Cheers
Hello
Found this Humidifier on EBAY a few weeks back and thought it would make for a good DIY job for making a Fogger since I have only heard bad things about foggers out on the market sold by Exo Terra / Zoomed etc.
This one is nice and big with a 10L reservoir and pumps out fog quite...
Hello
I'm new to chameleon and just curious about lighting and my terrarium because I also wish to keep plants in it, the chameleon is a Panther...
Terrarium is 48" L x 18" W x 36" H
From what I have read I cannot really utilize a full 48" fixture of linear bulbs because I also need a...
Hello
Curious what peoples opinions are of this light fixture ?
My terrarium is 48"L x 18"W x 36"T
This fixture is a 36" Dual Bulb T5 & Dual Bulb Halogen, are the extra built in Halogens worth it? The T5 seems to be the cream of the crop for UVB so their a given.
Hello
I'd like to start off by stating what the title itself states, that I am new to Chameleons, however I am in the process of setting up a terrarium for one, I live in Indonesia and the Terrarium is being setup outside my house on a porch where it does NOT get any direct sunlight.
THE...
