Time flies, I remember getting him at 4 months old, so little and green and now he is a big handsome boy! Happy Birthday Randall! (He is just coming off a shedding in the picture lol) Just a quick question, how warm should his enclosure be now that he is a year old, Under Basking light its...
Hi All,
I haven't been on in awhile due to Emergency gallbladder surgery :( was in the Hospital for 4 days UGH! I was so glad I taught my son how to take care of Randall when I was gone and laid up not being able to do anything.
Randall really missed me though as when I came back from the...
When my husband get's back from Afghanistan, there is good (I consider it bad) chance we could move. :( Unfortunately we have no choice when the U.S Army say's we need you in another place, well we gotta go. My question is, how would I move Randall? it could be a very long drive to wherever...
Hypothetically Speaking, Is it even possible to travel in an RV and take a Chameleon along as long as it's misted as usual has a basking light, uvb light and food, also included is a 24x24x48 enclosure set up in the RV? I'm just curious if it can be done :)
API, Safe and Easy spray is non toxic and safe for all aquarium life, I figured it would be safe for Randall on his Penn Plax enclosure acrylic door, I love it! It works so good!

I don't know if this is normal for how big he is, I really don't remember his lips looking like that when he was smaller. I took the flash off so you can see his lips easier.
My 22 year old son has been telling me he thinks he is allergic to Randall, every time he is near the cage he gets sneezy and watery eyes, i was thinking well we are in Texas and the allergies around here are just crazy and put it off to spring cleaning and such.
Well he is not one to hold...
So this morning my cat found out that there is a Lizard in that cage that looked like it was empty for 3 months lol It didn't help that Randall was crawling down basically teasing my cat, little devil! There is no way that my cat can get Randall at all!!! So my son and I had to run out to the...
My camera does no justice to his colors, Randall's Turquoise was Amazing this morning, I can't even describe how blue it was as the camera could not capture how intense the colors were. Absolutely Amazing.
I know you all have Chameleons and see this stuff everyday, But heck, I'm proud of my boy because he is so handsome ;) Sorry for a few times of blurryness lol

Poor Randall is going through another shed, realized it's the same time every month lol but look at his frown on his face :( he look's so sad.
Told my husband today that he was shedding again and he said "again, by the time I come home he will be 4 feet long!" lol
I can't wait for my...
Are Bamboo Palm plants (Scientific name: Chamaedorea elegans) safe for Chameleons? I know they are non toxic to dogs and cats, what about Chameleons?
Why I ask I found out they act as a natural humidifier.
I know veiled's tend to love to eat some plants.
Is there any leafy vegetable that they would love to eat (actually can eat) that enhances their colors?
I'm just curious really.
Ok since i don't have a mist king and i am a stay at home housewife/mom 24/7, I usually just hand mist Randall (Male Veiled) for 3-5 minutes 3-4 times daily. well i was thinking of going to Lowes or Home Depot and buying a round up 1 gallon deluxe sprayer. this is the description: 1-Gallon...
