Of you keep them together they will over bread which is not good for the females at all and increases risk of complications like this. Also if they are wild they can have all sorts of illness.

Yes unfortunately it is common for things like that to happen although I've not had any first hand experience. There could be a number of factors, age like you said is possibly a factor. I'm sorry for you, that must have been a horrible thing to have to do :(

I scoop all the crickets out with a plastic cup and put them in a bug tub. Then I wash out the cricket keeper thing in the sink with washing up liquid. Try keeping wet food to one side and dry to the other, that helps. I do mine once a week because I only keep about 50-100 crickets at a time :)

She def needs the vet, my girl eats like a pig for days after laying. Is there a bird vet? Next best thing. She will need to be seen sooner than Tuesday as things like this can progress very fast and be fatal. Good luck!

Yes, chameleons bulge out and suck in their eyelids when they are cleaning. They will do this most while misting is happening but may do it randomly. Sometimes the eyes do bulge out a bit while sleeping, I don't know why but I know that it's nothing to worry about :)

Chameleons can often go to the bottom to poop so I would not necessarily say that this problem is egg related. My girl poops more often when she has eggs and is more likely to become impacted afterwards due to ingesting the laying bin substrate while digging :)

Impaction can be a killer so if you are concerned you should take her to see a vet. Warm showers and natural sun are known to help pass an awkward poop but there are many reasons this could happen. We can maybe help you some more if you could fill out this form and give us a bit more info :)...
