You should try some other fruits! Mango and strawberries are like crack to my cham but she wont look twice at any apple or peach i giver her. Maybe try some berries i find they are easier for them to eat like blueberries or even pomegranate seeds. just a thought.

Hey guys, my female veiled is gravid again and today when i went to feed her i found an egg at the bottom of her cage :eek: ! She seems totally fine, i set up a laying bin for her today. I just thought it was so weird that she just slipped one out. She isn't restless or scratching at the bottom...

No problem! I also thought of something else that may help. When it was quite cold i had a black sheet (which i also use for lights out time) to cover her cage with to keep the heat in. i have a Ficus, and my cham eats the leaves all the time! however she eats the leaves so much that some of the branches stop growing because there are no leaves left and then they break off when she climbs on them... but as long as shes happy, the plant is still in fair shape too.

She is done laying now, and is doing fine. I was freaking out for nothing :rolleyes:. She finished at about 4:30 ish today.

My girl did the exact same thing when she was the same age, she ended up (from what i could tell) not gravid, but now she is currently laying. What i can tell you from what i know is that my girl showed the signs of being gravid, restlessness, not eating, and being testy probably a couple days...

thanks Dez that is probably what she has been doing:) it just freaks me out to see her so still during day time but im sure she has been very busy today.

lol there probably, hopefully isnt actually a problem. the problem is that I'm just stressing out about it, should probably just try to chill. I just wanted to know that her behavior is normal for her laying:p
