Never heard that. I have dubia and you gut load them like all other feeders.

As soon as I open the door mine runs to the top of the screen which makes it easy to grab him. I just curl my fingers around him and he will release the screen and climb onto my hand eventually. Never pull the off screen though. You could rip off a nail.

Looks good to me. Very creative design. Just watch for mold with the bamboo. My Cham likes to chew on every so I would also be concerned with the twine.

Every personality is different. Some can be encouraged by food. Some will try to bit you every time. The best things to move them quickly so they don't get stressed. I have a nosy too!!

Where do you have your dripped located. It helps if there is a lot of light near bouncing off the droplets

I always cup feed my little chams. When they have fall into my routine I switch to free range. There are benefits to both.
