Don't offer him anything else except whatever it is you want to feed him. May take a few days but eventually he'll go at it. That's how I got mine off of primarily crickets to dubia.

So what I did was dismantle the fixture. make a slit in the plastic for the cord. now my uvb fixture works for 12'' and 18''.

A small cup with apple vinegar does the trick. Just place the cup in an area they seem to congregate to and you're set.

a probable way to deal with the pesticide issue would be to keep the bugs for like 5 days or so. 1. if they stay alive then no pesticides 2. gives u a chance to gutload em real good.
