I've been reading on here and souds like my cham but a little different. He has been sleeping a lot during the day. He still has his colors, but lathargic. He also has 2 bulges by his tail. One on either side. He also has not been eating at all.

I just put the eggs in a container with vermiculite......do I keep the vermiculite moist and do I cover the top or leave the top of the bowl open

APRIL 5th there is a reptile show here in columbus for the ohioians on the forum.....they usually have a nice breeder there with sunburst veils and also jackson's at reasonable rates......

Just wondering if chams can see in the dark like they can during the day....kind of like nocturnal vision??

Does the shedding happen a lot? If I feed him more that probably means he is going to grow quicker, which means he will shed more frequently? I keep everything misted well and the humidity where it should be....

How do you know when a female is ready to be bred. The veiled am going to inherit tonight or tomorrow is the right age, just wandering if there are tell signs of ready to breed. Or do I just wait until she noses around the bottom of the cage looking for a spot to expell her eggs like last time??

I have 3 turtles a couple inches in length, 1 that is about 4 1/2 and one that is 6.......what is everyone's opinion on when i can put them together.....i have always heard 4 inches b/c of the salmonela .....my other 2 act fine together and they are a couple inches different
