    Lucy's new habitat

Thanks for the kind words! There is a ficus tree in there, a Schefflera , and a pothos. Since I live in the PNW there is no shortage of moss, so I clipped off a few moss covered branches while hiking the other day. I hat the way potted plants look so I found some hollowed out stumps and placed...

    Lucy's new habitat

Lucy quickly out grew the enclosure I had her in, so when one of my students saw me looking at chameleon cages online at school she offered up the one laying around in her garage for $20. It had a few holes in the screen, so I re-screened all 5 sides with new screen. Lucy seems much happier an...

    New Jackson lethargic

I just got a new Jackson's chameleon from Underground Reptiles on Friday. He seemed to be pretty active, watched him eat a cricket and drink. But now he is napping a good chunk of the day and doesn't seem interested in food or moving around. He's pretty active in the mornings but settles down...

    couple of questions

I just picked up a Jacksons chameleon, he's about 4 months old. It's been really hot here, we're talking upper 90's and I know Jackson's being montane species like cooler temps. 1. Should I put his basking light on? I have the UVB light on and the thermometer at the top where his basking...

    New Cham and plant question.

I thought it was a Pothos also. I stopped a customer from buying one for their box turtle today who would have eaten it for sure.

    New Cham and plant question.

That would be pretty funny! But I made a home depot run today and got a Ficus tree and a Pothos. I also told all of my co-workers the plants are toxic and to let our customers know before they purchase them. I'm glad I decided to check if tehy were ok or not this could have ended very badly...

    R-zilla Terrarium Tank Topper??

I have one and I really like them. The only problem is if you feede small feeders they tend to escape if they aren't eaten right away. But otherwise I really like them.

    Bella's new home

The wood is a bendable branch I believe it's made by pettech. I tired the whole grapevine wood and they mold really quickly.

    Bella's new home

I finally got Bella her new enclosure. It's 24X24X48 I think she's going to be one happy Cham-per. She's already alot more active than she was in her old cage.

you would be suprised at how many impulsive people come through our store trying to house just about anything you can imagine in a critter keeper with sand and a water bowl.
