    RED EYED TREE FROG

I have Bromeliad, pothos, and a snake plant with my White's and all seem to be holding up well. Do you have them in a bioactive enclosure? Lighting and misting systems?

    Shedding Cuff?

The feeding are 2 weeks apart. The UVB bulb is about 9 inches away from her basking branch. I will definitely switch out the daylight bulb. I want to make sure that everything is set up correctly in the new enclosure! :) I will look into the digital thermometers! Do chameleons ever try to eat...

    Help Prepping for First Chameleon

Welcome to the forum. If you plan on using this enclosure, I would seal the cedar until you can't smell it anymore after the sealant has completely cured. Where is the door? If not the front, depending on dimensions, you may have difficulty getting center piece plants i & out, and working...

    Critique my outdoor enclosure

Lol thanks! That's steel hardware cloth, just plastic coated. It covers the bottom against anything burrowing too. We have loads of raccoons, they live right next to the cage heh, but they can't get in and have no interest in it. Rats are a real concern though! For plants I think for the time...

    Water plants?

Cool setup! And I do love the pothos for being able to handle pretty much anything lol, but if that isn’t what you had in mind you can always use a different soil mixture with high drainage and charcoal to help prevent root rot and bacteria. CaskAbove.com has plant care instructions and a list...

    seeing each other?

When they are outside they are in individual planter boxes with tall succulents planted in them i usually will throw some feeders in the box so they can hunt em down and will spray the whole area down, but they free roam and are watched like hawks by me and my sister and we are very cautious...

    Outside plants

Thanks for the reply, I tried hibiscus indoors but that didn't work out very well. I've been known to kill any plants in my care but will give it a try outside. Ficus is on my list as well.

    Plants ... lord help

Hey there hun. All plants really need the additional plant lighting... Here is a link to Veiled tested plants. https://chameleonacademy.com/plants/ But you want to provide either LED plant lights that are safe for chameleons... Jungle dawn is an option. Snake Plant?

...in setting up an enclosure for my future chameleon will perhaps be getting a primary plant. I know someone who may be able to give me a snake plant that they no longer have space for, and was wondering if people thought that this type of plant is chameleon-safe or if chameleons like it? I'm...

    Critique my outdoor enclosure

No lie, there are stories of rats chewing through concrete row home basements in Baltimore city. Rats are my biggest fear, followed by snakes, then foxes and raccoons. All of them can tunnel under or tear through a weak run. I don’t think that chameleons give off quite the scent the chickens and...

Sign of MBD or typical baby behavior?

Veiled that eats everything is literally mine in a nutshell, anything with a leaf she will taste it. Also my panther chameleon eats dead leaves specifically and bark, I honestly think it is because she is brown/orange/red hue, so I think that it's a behavioral thing, I do catch her eating live...
