@Crackhead I have another question, did you use a heating pad or a bulb? and if you used the bulb did you just get a heat one of something that gives it other stuff like uv rays?

Also if you notice your chameleons veil is closer to it's body. It could be a female or a male I think it is a female but in time for sure you'll be able to tell. If it is a female that will bring up some problems for you. Female veils and most other chams lay eggs and they are also stressed...

This is a female veiled chameleon, the crest or the veil is smaller and closer to the body unlike male who have tall ones that grow upwards, and there aren’t any bumps on the back legs indicating a male...In my opinion it’s a girl, also welcome to the site! Good luck on ur cham.....

Because this species of chameleon is closely related to the Ocelots chameleon does it have a lot of the same requirements?

Hello, so I am finished building my cage now I'm buying the stuff for the inside and well I want to get live plants but I have a little demonic veiled cham who is going to eat the soil. Does anybody know a good solution to this where water can still get to the plant?

Good! take good care of him( I'm sure you will) It doesn't matter gender sometimes you prefer a certain gender but you shouldn't care unless your just starting out on your pets.

I wouldn't say six months; he's small in size, and not a lot of darker colors(really bright showing that he is a young dude)
