I am looking to rehome my 2 female helmeted chameleons. All I want is a good home for them. I need to rehome due to helping family through hard times. I am located In Bakersfield CA I do not want to ship
I am not sure where you are located, but If you want a hoehnelii, One of my females. just had 9 babies, and the other female is still gravid, but close. I am located in california. Their care is basically just like the jacksons. You will fall in love. They are so sweet. The link SteveH...
Is this a male? I thought female. I have such a hard time telling when they are babies. Only reason I ask, is mine had babies and I kept 2. I thought 1 male and one female... but maybe the female is male also. Looks a lot like yours.
I have 2 gravid T. Hoehnelii chameleons. I know they can change color for various reasons. Does my chameleon show signs of stress? I ran into another blog online. The post was about a gravid jackson chameleon. She thought its color change indicated she would be giving birth soon. Someone else...
I added ice to the water, but with it being a larger tank the ice melted to fast. it might have been cooler in the beginning, but once the ice melted it was back to just cool water. I don't trust it to give consistent temps. I returned it and just got a 10,000 bcu portable A/C unit. I can't wait...
I went and bought a portable evaporative cooler. hopefully it does the trick. if not, I'll return it and get a portable A/C unit. I just didn't want to go that route because they all have dehumidifiers. I went with the evaporative cooler because it adds humidity. 🤞🤞🤞hope it lowers the temps at...
I did not consider that! very valid point. Since I keep my A/C unit around 74-75F I wonder if I got one of the portable A/C units that uses water to cool would work to drop the temps at least 10 degrees. since it will be cooling already cool air.
Has anyone used the repticooler and felt it worked? I am not getting a low enough temp drop at night. I keep my AC at 75 with the fogger and misters it drops it a bit lower but not enough. I aslo have small pc fans that run 24/7 (pulling air out, not blowing in)Do you turn them off at night for...
My panther cham hatched yesterday. Its my first time taking care of a hatchling. I watched every video on chameleon academy and own other chameleons. Not a complete newbie but still lots to learn. So, I have a T5 5.0 on top of the enclosure. It is lifted, so it isn't to strong for the little...
