    Finally set up!

After having the reptibreeze XL for about a month and a half, I have finally set up Priscilla's adult enclosure. It includes dual mist king nozzles, ficus as well as a number of fake plants and vines. I haven't quite fingered out a good drainage solution yet, but I am working on it. Any...

Baby panther enclosure vs adult accommodations.

Hey, I am about to transfer my nine month old panther from her juvenile enclosed to her adult setup. I set up my mistking in the juvenile cage (16x16x30), it worked great in a mesh cage. It was easy to transfer it to the adult cage. Foggers can be use but you will still need to hand...

Sorry for the late reply I was out of town last week with limited access. She has never been bred. Both clutches are infertile.

    Female Question

I have an almost nine month old panther female. She is almost ready to lay her second batch of eggs. Obviously laying at that rate is not good for her. From what I understand most people reduce the feeding and basking temps to curb the laying. My issue that at nine months she may not be...

Could Huey (Panther Chameleon) be gravid?

That's what I do. You can also tell if they are gravid by looking at their top profile. They will be visibly wide. At least mine is anyway.

Could Huey (Panther Chameleon) be gravid?

8 1/2 month old I would agree. I have an 8 1/2 month old and she has laid one batch about 2 months ago and I am pretty sure she is gravid again. A sure sign for her is that she stops eating before she lays. This may not be the case for every panther, but it is a sign.

    DiVinci isn't eating

UVB lighting Hi, I was just looking at the set ups in your profile pics and could help notice it doesn't look like you have a UVB light, unless your heat lamp also has UVB. Chameleons require UVB. Please have a look at the veild care sheet if you haven't already in the care resources...

    Over eating?

Hi just to clarify- I have a eight month old panther female who has laid once and appears to be getting larger again. Should I reduce to 5-7 medium crickets a day? I new you had to reduce, I just thought that would be after they were full grown. Is there any reading material on this subject...
