I've gotten a ton of wonderful information here on the forums as well as a few other web sources, I was wondering if anyone had any really awesome books on chameleons they normally recommend? I love to collect books on things I'm interested in and despite a long term interest in chams I've never...
I saw someone with a "rule of thumb" feeding schedule when I was browsing really late last night and now for the life of me I can't find the thread with the post.
I was wondering if anyone happens to know what I'm talking about? Or has another one they go by.
Also, while we're on the...
When I get my new baby boy, around what age would I normally need to move him to a bigger cage?
I'm building my own cage and I made it to where it will essentially grow with him. The full size is 24x24x48. The inside includes a raised panel to make it a smaller cage when he's little, but as...
I'll have to check that out! What I'll probably do is check in the cabinet aisle at home depot on my next trip there if they don't have something the correct size in the regular lighting aisle.. I seem to be going there pretty frequently lately since I decided to build my own cage.
Right now I'm trying to figure out how cleaning is going to go with a second floor apartment. The whole wiping down thing will be fairly easy, but as far as cleaning the whole thing....Still trying to work that out.

Yeah these 90+ days have been a killer lately. I can't wait for outdoor adventures with mine when he's old enough! I live really close to some pretty awesome places for him to explore.
Whoa small world! That's pretty awesome though! Good to know I have a cham neighbor :)
How do you find yours do with the weather down here? At least during the winter anyways, summer seems like it'd be pretty comfortable for them with all of our humidity and what not.
Put down my deposit on a baby! I won't be getting him until mid-August (weather permitting) but I am so excited.
He'll be coming from The Chameleon Farm. So far, communication has been phenomenal and I've been told pictures of him will be posted and I'll be updated on him until his arrival...
The way this guy does it, he keeps a broad mouthed glass where it catches the light so the cham can see it, and out of the way potential poop falling in. His chams all seem healthy and well hydrated, and all of them apparently drink from their glass daily in the mornings without any outside...
