Like many others on here, I'm hoping to keep a blog to document my sweet little baby as he grows. His arrival date is set for the morning of August 20th. I couldn't be more beside myself with excitement and anxiety (the good kind).
The Chameleon Farm will always receive glowing recommendations...
Oh that's awesome! Definitely a fitting companion for someone in that profession. I knew the name rang a distant bell but I couldn't quite put my finger on it. I'm pretty sure a long time ago I saw a documentary on blowing that dropped his name a few times.
Funny story about African Greys, they are banned in my parents' house now. We birdsat one for about a week and it developed an unhealthy obsession with my mother. He would figure out how to open the door and stalk her around the house. She'd turn around and he would be staring at her form behind...

That's not a bad idea!
I saw a thread awhile back on here about someone ordering snails and breeding them, but they had to get a permit and that seemed like more hassle then I had time to deal with. It might be worth my while to research and try it since I have some WC readily available. Thanks!
My little male veiled will be arriving next week, and so far on the menu I have crickets planned and then eventually dubias. I have a friend who has offered up snails from her garden after mentioning that they eat snails.
Should I be concerned about him eating snails from a garden as far as...
