is lovage safe to eat ?
i have in my garden some lovage and yesterday i caught her climbing down her tree and visiting the lovage, i hope she didn't eat (pretty sure she didn't), but if she did, is it okay ? is it safe ? i couldn't find anywhere info about that.
i have something like this...
so i know that you should give them twice a month multivitamins, but here i have a problem.
how much ?
if mine eats 20 dubias/day, and another one eats 2 crickets/day, it's not the same amount ... you should dust the whole food in that day when you give multivitamins, or just some of the...
so nobody saw them with black spots/dots like when they're angry/stressed/scared, when they sleep ?
can they feel anything when they sleep ? are they aware of things around them even if they are with they eyes closed ?
lol, when i'm cleaning her cage, i'm putting her on the desk, or somewhere near it and she climbs it and goes to the keyboard, sometimes she runs over it, sometimes she stays there :)))
well, you said 10F, the drop is like 15F, i think it's enough.
that's not the problem since she only stays on top, and never seen her opening her mouth from hotness
it happens randomly i think, the good news is that they apparently disappear pretty fast ... i only see them 1 minute, 2 max.
in the middle of the day (hot as hell) i have like 80F in the bottom of the cage, and maybe 90F on the top, at the basking spot.
at night (i see now, 1 AM) it's 26C -...
nice to hear that.
reading these post i came to a conclusion.
it's so sad that these little guys are doing fine most of the time when they're adopted.
the breeders (not generalizing) and pet shops are doing a terrible job. they're selling them with LOTS of problems.
mine, for example had a...
sometimes she gets dark spots (like those that appear when she's stressed/scared) WHEN she's sleeping ... i, sometimes, like to check her (IN DARKNESS) when she's sleeping.
it's the third time in 1 month that i see her with black spots and i wonder why. she's not waking up, and most of the...
isn't she too young to lay eggs ?
in the last photo she was basking, so that's what she does, she fluffs her belly and her goiter, and the bottom part of the tummy was sitting on the back leg (makes any sense ?)
and i heard when they are carrying they don't eat, but she eats a lot.
and not...
i was wondering what's the signs for intestinal parasites.
like dehydration and all the bad stuff, does it come with a warning ?
like ... poop color or lost of appetite or anything ?
mine eats well but seems lethargic and poop has sometimes a strange brown-white color (might be the things...
edit :
- i think she's a SHE, nobody told me 100%, i got different opinions ...
- the guy that i got her from told me she was born in march (so she is 5 months almost)
- but also he told me that she's a boy, so ...
and also, the way she rests on her belly, not her feet ... i heard that's...
so a month has passed since i got her and posted the first photos... some of the problems have passed too (shaking legs, non-shedding spots, etc), some new occurred, but after all, she seems fine (to my novice eye).
-i feed her roaches + worms every day with calcium (NO D3) + multivitamins...
