Thank you! Thanks! Elwood is very cool for sure and I can't wait to see his babies grow up. thank you. We usually post for sale on FB. I don't know how many we'll have available as we'll be keeping some and we have a wait list. It's a small clutch (20 eggs - 12 have hatched) and I don't...

    Advice needed please!!!

I have my baby panthers in a 16x16x30 cage. They are just a couple weeks old and they find food with no problem. I think the cage you pictured is fine. I think a critter keeper would be too hot - especially if the light is strong enough to melt it.

    Jackson VS Meller's

As has been said, they do need much more space and free range is better. And yes, long misting sessions. I would say 20 minutes is barely a start - mine get an hour in the morning, sometimes longer. Melleri are nearly always wild caught so you will have to take that into consideration as well...

    Introducing Sage

I love his name! And I love the photo of him in the bag! Poor little guy - I hate packing them up and shipping. It must be so scary for them. I'm glad he is already eating and I know he will be very happy with you!

Experiment Of Solving Respiratory Infection For Chameleons.

I also use warmer temps. And I do not keep them in a humid environment all the time when they have an RI , I steam him in the shower twice a day - it helps him breath better. Also, antibiotics are very tough on a chameleons kidneys - they need plenty of water while on them so time in the...

Experiment Of Solving Respiratory Infection For Chameleons.

thank you. I notice an improvement in symptoms after the shower treatment but it is short-lived. Hopefully the antibiotics will start making more of an improvement than I've seen so far. Still a lot of saliva but his eyes are clear and open. I continue twice daily 30 minute showers as the...

    Missing food (urgent help please)

In the first photo his front leg is showing signs of MBD (it looks like he has an extra elbow.) Missing food is also a sign of that. I don't know what nutrobal is but you do need to give him calcium. Gutloading your crickets better would be helpful too. Greens like dandelion & mustard, sweet...

    rescue cham, please help!

I don't know if it is available in Canada but I use Flukers Repti+Boost as the food supplement. I'm sure it is similar to the one you are using. I also use carnivore care. Is he willing to take any feeders? If you can get one in his mouth he may chew it up. Silkworms might be a good thing to try.

    rescue cham, please help!

I'd use calcium without D3 and I'd try to find liquid calcium. How are you giving him water? I would give him a shower daily. Put him on a plant in the shower with lukewarm water. Don't get him directly under the water - bounce it off the wall. Give him a good 30 minutes or more twice a day...

    rescue cham, please help!

People use pedialyte but not gatorade that I know of. If he is drinking water I would stick with that and the food supplement. I would give him liquid calcium as well.

Keeping your cham in the living room?

I have a dozen melleri on a free range encircling my living room. They aren't stressed. I work in there - my desk is in a corner and we watch TV in there. They are fine when people come over ... sometimes they get pissy when one of the panthers leaves their area and comes strolling in to their...

First week since my Veiled arrived

by 5-6 weeks old they should be on larger crickets and over fruit flies. My 6 week old babies are eating 1/4 inch crickets.

First week since my Veiled arrived

A chameleon that age should be eating much more than 5 small or pinhead crickets. More like 15-20 a day.
