Well I was worried for nothing they all hatched yesterday and this morning. So after pipping they were in the egg for 3-4 days. Probably should make a new thread for this but what supplement schedule do you use on your baby panthers?
I guess this thread got them moving just had one hatch. Hopefully they will all hatch over the next couple days.
How long have you had them sit pipped?
Also the one that hatched disturbed a couple of other eggs in the container do I need to worry about that?
I have my 1st ever Panther clutch hatching out now. I had the eggs divided into two containers. The first baby out of one container hatched Saturday night and now all the eggs have hatched out of that container. The other container 2 of the eggs pipped on Saturday night and the rest pipped...
Everything I've read says between Day 1 and Day 3 haven't seen them eat yet but trying to keep a good supply of flies and pinheads available. Don't want too many pin heads though they might start chewing on the babies. These little ones are nerve racking. They all seem to be very active always...
Haven't been on in awhile between work and leopard gecko babies hatching been pretty busy. Was expecting these guys in the end of May so they were about a month late but better late than never. 8 so far. These are my first babies so any advice is appreciated. They have a reptisun 5.0 25watt...
I had all my Chams on reptisun 5.0 except one that one was on a reptiglo 5.0. The only chameleon that I have had any health problems was the one on the reptiglo. It was a female veiled that developed eye problems and died a few days later. Not sure if it was the light but that bulb was the only...
Been working on an outside enclosure to house my guys the last few weekends and its finally done and been warm enough to stick them outside. They still have to come in at night because the temps get too low but during the day they get to enjoy some warm florida sunshine. I'd like to just have...
Double check the connection between the pump and power source. I had problems with the connection on mine had to "wiggle" it to get it to work. After I got a good connection it's worked fine ever since.
not worried about the size of the clutch so much but more the frequency. This is her second clutch in 2 months. She ate this morning and seems to be doing fine so I'll try cutting back on her food some.
My Ambilobe girl laid 23 eggs for me today. She seems to be doing good this evening. Any suggestions on slowing her down? This is her second clutch since I got her I don't want to burn her out laying all the time.
Here is what I use for an egg laying bin. I filled a 5 gallon bucket...
All my chams took a while to name except for my first Ambiole he was mean as sin and bit the heck out of me. So I named him after a hockey enforcer Wade Belak. Didn't even make it home before he got the name. On the flip side the cham I've had the longest still doesn't have a name. Good luck...
Well I have been lurking on here awhile so I thought I'd finally post and introduce my crew 2 Veileds and 5 Panthers.
My youngest Veil came from Cleathechameleon I still haven't given him a name I am hoping I come up with one for him soon
