    Is This a Bad Sign?

Thanks so much everyone for the advice! When I bought my cage, this is the uvb bulb I bought, if this isn't good enough I'll go get my money back and invest in the T5HO fixture and bulb! And here's a pic of his cage on a little table that fit perfectly :)

    Is This a Bad Sign?

Obviously his cage isn't done, but I got him a 2x2x4 cage that you guys recommended, and the under the light fixture is a basking bulb and a uvb bulb you guys recommended. I have a ton more to do to his cage, but for tonight, this will have to do. Is this better? It looks humongous and I hope he...

    Is This a Bad Sign?

Here is a pic I just now took. I do believe he is getting a little large for this cage (which is sad cause he grew way faster than I expected and all this money on the cage feels wasted)

    Is This a Bad Sign?

My veiled is about 10 months old I would say, and he's been doing great. Ever since I've had him he's always loved being held. Recently, he's been wanting out more and more out of his cage, and sometimes even turning down a cricket to escape the cage! Is this a sign of something bad? He is so...

    Is My Cham Getting Tubby?

He used to be super skinny, cause of his previous owner not caring for him correctly. I've been giving him a steady diet of protein, veggies and fruits. I am worried he might be starting to look a little fat? His little belly lays on the branch at night, and am worried he is gaining too much...

Chameleon Acting Different After Changing Lights??

That light combo came with the cage I bought, so I am not sure it is returnable by itself. I've been searching the internet for the T5HO uv bulb and the fixture that goes with it, but I want to purchase them together. Does petco/petsmart sell anything worth a damn? Ugh.

Chameleon Acting Different After Changing Lights??

Before I put in those lights as pictured above, all I was using was a regular household lamp and that's what he's been under the entire time I've had him (about 5 months) and there hasn't been a problem. Should I switch back to that for now?

Chameleon Acting Different After Changing Lights??

I replaced my veiled's light today from a normal bulb to these two bulbs that came with the cage I bought, and about half an hour later he had already begun to start acting different. He usually just sits at the top and basks, but after switching out the one light for these two, he's been going...

Why is My Veiled Eating Soil so Often?

I feed the crickets Fluker's high-calcium cricket diet flakes, and also Fluker's cricket quencher water supplement. And twice or three times a week i dust the crickets in a white calcium powder. And he seems to want crickets all day! He acts starving but I promise you he isn't.

Why is My Veiled Eating Soil so Often?

I recently got potted plants from a nursery, and lately, my male veiled chameleon has been munching on the soil that my bromeliad is potted in. There is no fertilizer in the soil, but he will just go up to the pot and start eating the soil like it's dessert. Is this a sign that he is lacking in...

How to Keep Screen Cage More Humid???

Ok everyone! My dad decided to go the expensive route and go with the plexiglass... We did three of the four sides in plexiglass, and left the front door and top open for air. I have read through about the misters and have thought about just replacing the tips of the misters with something...
