Ok so my flap neck chameleon has been growing very slow sheds every 4 weeks and gets a little bigger at most from what I can remember he is about 5 months but basically the question is do some chameleons grow slower

The reason I ask is because earlier I feed my chameleon a dubia roach and it was slightly bigger than his mouth he opened his mouth but he was in the sun and stopped so I was worried he was choking but he is fine know
