    Drink distilled water?

Thanks for your reply, The problem with adding minerals to the water is it will clog the fogger with mineral deposits. As someone said above, the chameleons will need other sources of minerals if I use distilled water. (such as calcium supplement on crickets) Does anyone know if a chameleon's...

    Drink distilled water?

Thanks for the feedback guys, just one question: If I use distilled water, why do I need to clean the tube weekly? I thought that distilled water isn't supposed to cause mineral build up.

    Drink distilled water?

Hey everyone, I just bought a Repti-fogger from Petco today, filled it with distilled water (like the manual and internet said,) and turned it on. The fog came out and after a few minutes, water began dripping from the hose. Is it alright if my chameleon (which I do not have yet) drinks...

    Air Conditioning for Chameleons?

Mabye I should get a large one and run it on low. ;) That way, in case of a heat wave, I can turn it up and still have the benefits of a low powered one when it is less warm. ;)

    Air Conditioning for Chameleons?

Thanks for that tip, Mike. I'll certainly not get large AC because (a) It will make more draft. (b) It will make temperature swings, like you said. (c) Tt will be more expensive.

    Air Conditioning for Chameleons?

Thanks for the reply mike. :) That's basicly the problem. I can't find any quads for sale. :( A friend said she had some eggs and I'm hoping they'll hatch soon. As for the problems you mentioned.... I'll get a large humidifier to keep the terrarium humid and direct the flow of air away from...

    Air Conditioning for Chameleons?

Thanks for the excellent feedback Saldarya. :) The only problem with air conditioning the whole room (even if it is a very small room) is that there are a lot of people in this house and doors are constantly opening and closing and letting air in and out. However, I see your point in the fact...
