Anyone have their own thread or know one that shows general panther egg development month by month and what they look like when they are about to hatch. Thanks!!
I have one as well and I have a thermometer inside and it stays the temp I set it at. It only fluctuates a degree or so. The outside temp will read something different. I think that's the temp it uses to keep the inside at the correct level.
I have thought about this also, being a first time breeder. Seems like it would be easier to start with a few and see how it goes than incubating the whole clutch and having them all die off. I also thought about what I would do with all the babies and I now have a good back up plan in case I...
I've been using the exo terrra incubator that heats and cools. it has been super accurate! We don't have stable heating and cooling (we live in an old house) that's why I bought this. Been doing good for 3 months now.
Wow September! That's a long time! I'll hold on to them and we will see what happens. I should I kept her first clutch and I'm kicking myself for not doing that.
My female panther Chloe just laid a second batch of eggs. She first laid in April. The first clutch I assumed was infertile so I tossed them. We had tried to breed her but never saw them "hook up" so we assumed they hadn't. Now she just laid 29 eggs just 2 months later. I'm so confused because...
I showed my female my male today. She looked like this. Usually she instantly turns black and hisses. Today she just puffed up a little but didn't change color. I was holding him while i took the pic. I'm confused. Receptive? Or maybe close to it?
I do want to breed her. We tried to breed her this time around but our male didn't cooperate. She laid 35 eggs!! Just didn't know when is a good time to start trying again.
My female Chloe laid her first clutch of infertile eggs like a champ. I was freaking out that there would be complications but she dug her hole, laid, and climbed back up to sleep. It was pretty quick she did it all in 1 day. Now my question is about how long do we have to wait till she may be...
The female is receptive. No hissing. She wasn't receptive a few weeks ago when we tried so I can tell the difference. She's even tried climbing on top of him lol.
He does head bob so I'm thinking he's still into her.
It's been pretty cloudy here the past couple days but next time there is a...
