It cost like $17 here. You may be right though.
My biggest thing is if I can help save the environment and not just throw it away, that would be nice. As well, if everyone who needs it buys a big roll at the store then that is like 10 more people who are buying the product and 10 times the...
I bought a huge roll (only size available at Home Depot) of black plastic fencing. I believe it is 1/2 inch squares. It is great to put on the inside of the mesh or aluminum cages. This way your cham won't hurt its feet while climbing. If Photobucket would load images for me, I would post a...
I made a similar one the suggestion directly above me. I used the great stuff, then put brown latex paint over that, then spraypainted. I let all this cure for about a week. I added driftwood before spraying the great stuff. It worked great and then I screwed the plywood that it was built on...
I ordered some from www.blapticadubia.com
They were great to deal with. As well, mwheelock has some. He is a member here and a vet so I am sure he takes great care of him.
Alright, cage almost done. Foam cured. Latex paint and a little topical spray paint done. Attached the background to the frame of the cage. All that is left is adding the additional fencing on the sides for easier climbing. I will post pics of the cage tomorrow.
In my haste, I forgot...
I was thinking of that, which is why I asked. I may put it around the base of the branches and driftwood which is attached to the background. This way I could replace it every couple weeks. I could even use metal ties which can poke through the foam and tie it on there. This way I can easily...
I saw that but the guy at home depot said a lot of people bring it back because the clog easily.
I found a fake stone spray paint that I want to try. I actually used the black version on the back of my aquarium, which really is an absolutely amazing idea. real easy, fast and relatively...
I just received my "new" used cage from Tyler. Easy to put together and an all around great buy.
I then started to get everything together to customize it.
I bought:
3 cans of paint
1 brown for background
1 mixed brown for background
1 black for stand
I already have a stand from my...
to be honest, these guys are being hidden and I don't see a why to keep them that warm and still hidden. Oh well, I will buy as a treat every once in a while. I don't want to make my fiance angry b/c I am looking to get a male pink ankaramy real soon.
I only ordered 50 and two set of adults. I received 60 little guys and 3 sets of adults. I definitely recommend blapticadubia.com. I ordered and paid last Thursday. They shipped on Monday and I already have them in 2 days. Absolutely awesome.
My cham loves chasing them and of course...
Instead of going with the cocoa fiber for a background is there a nontoxic paint that could be sprayed on the foam?
Anyone know any non-toxic paint which could stand up under the humiditiy?
