Unfortunately (for my chams) I have been really busy as of lately, going to school in the morning, then working mid afternoon and then back to school at night. I hate to say it but I almost feel like I'm neglecting them. I never handle Nemo anymore (which he loves) and Purps needs more attention...
Chicken wire will work (smaller the better). Cup feeding might be a solution to loose feeders. Just watch out thought, some chams feel they can still "get out" because of the wider spacing between the wires. They WILL rub their noses raw trying to get out, so keep on eye on that. :)

I love "south" southern Cali, but your better off going north. :)
Scenery varies more IMO (a little bit of everything, from beaches to deserts and in between). ;)
HAHA, couldn't help laughing. TJ isn't but a hopscotch away... ;)
Good list to have though, might invest in a few of these items.
Do some of these drugs apply to chameleons as well as other reptiles (i.e. like Terramiacin, etc.)? Thanks! :D
WOW! He's pretty. Sad something so beautiful only lives a couple of days. Must be a busy couple of days in the nature. I know what I would do if I had only a couple of days... ;)
Newest member of the family. Meet Ruby, my aprox. year old red argentinian tegu. She is quite healthy, but missing a few toes.
I guess red tegus need more humidity than other tegus and are notorious for having shedding problems if not enough fruits or humidity is provided, hence the mising...
That was sure a deal that you snagged from me! And now you have my girls too... What next? You can HAVE my first born. :p
HAHA, thanks for giving my babies a new great home in that rockin' cage! ;)
I miss them already...
Do these work on reptiles such as Reef 5.0 by Zoo Med? Just had a chance to buy a bunch for a good price but passed it up because they weren't reptile specific. Should I just jump on them and get them? Thanks! :D
Who knows? She seems to be going back to normal. I've seen her dig two or three times more, but never digs much. Today she just basked all day, hated me every time I misted her and kept her one eye closed (left one). Seems she has dirt in her eye or something. She also has some black bruising on...
Update!
Man, she drank water for a little, not as much as expected. Then she ate ONE superworm voraciously, sunbathed a little then went back to digging at the bottom again.
Anyway she could still be retaining some eggs? After 34 I figured she was done! I'll keep you guys posted...
Yeah, that "incubator" (actually a wine chiller/food warmer) ran me twice as much as a normal Hobivator, but it's pretty much dummy proof. Just set the temp and go! Just have to watch out for the vermiculite or whatever medium you use.
The male in the photo (althought I have no proof of...
My vet euthanized my poor Dory. She was so sick and full of yolk. It was heart breaking, but not more heart breaking than watching Chuck die in my hands suffering.
I too wouldn't be able to freeze my cham personally.... a small shot and her eyes are lay to rest works better for my heart and...
I kept them together for a day or so. Introduced them again a few days later. Then after awhile she would just deny him. I figured they weren't fertile because I never saw Nemo's hemipenis go inside of her.
I saw him copulate with Dory (my female panther who dies, R.I.P.) and he looked like...
