Finally done with this beauty. Well, almost.
5 x 2 x 2
Now she just needs many more vines and leaves.
This is my first time woodworking something of this size.
Everything purchased from the good ol' Home Depot. All sanded wood, built the shape first then covered the sides...
This is what i have just done with my new enclosure. I believe it is just your standard PVC coated hardware cloth. Love this stuff and so does my cham. Will see if I can find a photo.
I will do a chameleon 'shower' very infrequently when and if my chameleon has an issue with a shed, or if I feel as if he is being a stubborn drinker, etc.
He seems to not be as stressed in the shower situation than he is if I were to spray down his enclosure and hit him with the warm water...
Apologies if this was already provided for your usage, or if you have already found it on your own :)

Congratulations on the new veiled chameleon and we are very happy that you are on the forums with us! :)
I did skim the posts and like most of the advice in which you are receiving.
However, does anyone else notice the curvature in his front arms from the photo(s)?
I skimmed quickly...
Does he sit directly under the lighting while he sleeps?
Does he have a view through open windows from his cage?
Sleeping during the daytime can be an indication for a more serious health issue.
However, my chameleon will "get ready for bed" -- will find the shadiest spot in his...
Don't be alarmed, it is likely some healthy basking. :) My chameleon will usually flatten out, lean to one side as you have described, and take in some heat. One side at a time. Sound about right?
What type of supplements do you use? And how often?
I ask because I believe I have seen a similar situation with a Jackson's that seemed to have overdosed on vitamin d3. All of his feeders were dusted with calcium w/d3. Swollen limbs.
From what I've gathered from searching (other forum members, experienced keepers on this subject should correct me if I'm wrong):

2x2x5...all done, will post photos shortly...though there are 2 places (very small) that two pieces of wood don't quite touch. I have 3 crickets in there now to see if they can find a way out overnight, but...
Does anyone have any idea of a Cham-safe way I could plug up these couple holes...
I would ask the vet specifically on their knowledge of chameleons. Around me, there are a few veterinarians that claim they can see reptiles, but after a couple visits with different vets, I find they know no more than I do about chameleons.
Check out this page for a vet...
Ah, yes, I prefer to use an abundance of pothos in my cages :) Potted with organic soil (no fertilizer), covered the top with large rocks to avoid the cham/crickets from getting to the soil, and also the rocks being large enough so the chameleon cannot accidentally eat them.
Hibiscus is...
I aim for my cham to be well hydrated and have an easy time shedding. I figure, if this is achieved, I don't need to break my back upping the humidity.
However, I use (all screen cage) three sides covered with a thin plastic to hold in humidity, I have a pressure sprayer that creates a very...
