I'm having trouble finding a fluorescent UVB build for this enclosure what would you recommend? Also, would 2 white incandescent daylight bulbs (75 watt) be fine for a very large cage in this hood? Thanks!
Never had a problem with them. I can't sustain live plants so I use them. They just have to be secure and you may want to provide a food bowl for greens so your cham doesn't try to eat the fake leaves. It works for my cham :)
I do not believe it is an organ problem. He eats and drinks (as far as I know, he doesn't drink in front of me) fine. I would expect him to not eat if an internal problem was occurring. I will most likely take him to vet first, of course.
I saw that one but I just like the way the UVB bulbs are on either side of the UVA bulbs on the one I linked. The one you linked only has one UVB bulb so it would be difficult for my setup, but I could always put up more branches to increase area for my cham to sit.
I don't think my mercury vapor bulb is good enough for my cham. I want to have more UVB exposure and a larger basking area. The fixture is 24" and the top of my cage is 32" I can center it over his basking branch just fine. The cage is tall and I have so much cover that my cham won't have a...
Is there any place in the United States that does custom plastic moulds? I would love to make a drainage system to catch water so I can add a dripper. I have been feeling like spraying isn't enough.
Almost certain that my cham has edema. I use repticalcium at every feeding. I feed every other day. On the first of each month I use calcium with d3 and on the third of each month I use multivitamin. After that I resume normal calcium. How can I make his edema go away?
It feels soft on the outside. Under that I can feel the bones. He eats a lot. I don't seen him drink much. I guess that's secretive. He eats normally. His urates and poos are normal. I just want to know if I should be concerned and have a vet check him out or just keep an eye on him?
