She ate from the cup!! I had to rearrange a whole bunch of stuff in her cage but now I guess she can find it better and she's eating from it as I type this! Woohoo so excited! Haha
I'd suggest one of the sponsors if you want to get them online: https://www.chameleonforums.com/index.php?page=sponsors&type=food
Not sure where to get dubias locally for you, petsmart/petco sell superworms though.
One last question, she still isn't eating out of the feeder I made her. I am hand feeding her some dubia roaches so I know she isn't starving. How long should I go before I should get worried and maybe give up the feeder idea?
I have a 2.5-3 month old panther chameleon that I absolutely adore. I love just holding her, but I also like to take her out of his cage and hold her outside so she can get some sunlight! I know that you can stress them out and that would be bad for her, but she shows no signs of stress that I'm...
One quick question. Does it matter where I place the feeder cup? I want it on this spot where it'd look nicer, but he usually hangs out on the other side of the cage
I bought a baby chameleon from the owner at a reptile store. He breeds them at his house and sold this baby to me at an amazing price. He couldn't guarantee the sex but he thinks it was a female. I don't care either way! I just want to know for sure so I can name it! It's about 2.5 months old...
I've had my little panther chameleon for about a week now. I'm under the impression she's about 2.5 months old and also a female, but I wasn't guaranteed that. During that time I only had fake plants and branches for her to climb on, so I would just dump in some crickets and it was easy for her...
I'm not talking about putting them in there at the same time, but I've got a Chinese Water Dragon that I have an outdoor cage for. I try to leave him in it for at least an hour everyday. I'm wondering if it is safe to put my 2-3 month old panther in there when the CWD isn't so he can get some...
Hey everyone! I ended up buying one of them. She is really cute! The owner took me to his house where he breeds them and he's got a wonderful setup and the babies were full of life. I'm very happy with my purchase! He also dropped the price down to $100 because he only had females left, at least...
Ok thanks guys! I'll definitely post pics so y'all can check them out. I have had a veiled for a year then left him with my parents when I went to college. After I graduated I now have a bearded dragon, but I'm missing my chameleons!
This reptile store around me is selling panther chameleons around 2 months old for $150. I am heading there tomorrow to check them out. What are some things I should look for and questions to ask? Also is $150 a good price?
Thanks!
