I'm freaking out a little bit now. It is parasites. & I'm wondering if I should pitch the egg now. There are tiny tiny pinworms on my other eggs. Does that mean all these baby will have pinworms or could I just wash off the eggs? Any suggestions???? 🤞🙏
Not wet enough where there is moisture on the top of the container like some pictures I see. But the vermiculite sticks together when I pinch it.... Is this windowing? Now some are getting these white spots/ markings. We're at 185 days now.
185 days now. Wondering if this is windowing? My brownish pinkish eggs are getting some white spots/markings on them. Another breeder I have been talking to is around 2/3 weeks ahead of me & hers just hatched. If this is not windowing, any idea what it is?
Yes. Even when I candle them. .yl0lXōlkiliwôooo
I think the reason the color is off maybe cause I didn't dig them up for almost 2 months. I think the coconut husk dyed them. Maybe not. Idk but my second clutch that I dug up right away is white. This clutch here does have some odd spots &...
Ok. Thought cause it was a different subject to Start a different thread. Yes it's 1 of the eggs that had a green spot on it. Every couple of days I check them to see if any are sweeting or denting. Only pop it open check on them. Probably once I week I candle them. Not every single egg but a...
I had another 1 that had a numb on it. Guessing it was a hole that sealed up. Today as I was checking my eggs again I have another 1 that has a whole. The other 1 resealed itself & seems to be fine. This 1 I'm not so sure by the whole it's dark & the egg is no longer transparent. Not sure if...
I know Its not suggested. It's been like that for a couple months. Before I started candling them. Hasn't burst yet. But I have heard of that happening. Seems to have more water, more transparent then the others & the baby is the smallest in that egg. I'll chill on candling them for a while. But...
Oops messed up my last reply. I have started fruit fly cultures been breeding crickets have 1000s of pin head crickets. When they're about 2.5/3 months I'm going to be listing them for rehoming. I'm starting a website. I have a Facebook page. & a Google business listed. So far I have 6 buyers...
I just started to last month. They still seem to be growing & developing. I hope so too. If not lesson learned. I have been doing tons of research, blogs, videos, & some people ruin them just adding too much water without candling them. Some people candle them weekly with no hatching issues. I...
Yes. It's near the side, by the moisture on the side of the container. So maybe it is just more full of water then the others. I hope it doesn't burst. I haven't added more water in awhile. They're all different sizes. I had 1 that looked like it could of had a leak & repaired itself. It's the...
177 days!! The big black beady eye seems to have gone away so I think maybe they have skin around there eyes now. They're also kind of getting a green tint. Some sorta greenish blue. (Hope that's a good thing) they're still not completely solid. But the bottom half is, & the middle to top is...
Oh... I just changed it too. I did have a soil bottom. With plants growing in the soil. But I was told with it not being fully bioactive with the bugs. That the Chams would get sick so I just put the plants in pots. I have some smaller pots I could use so they're closer to the bottom.
I know I'm being impatient. I'm just so excited to meet them! I have everything ready. Crickets hatching. I just also don't want to start the fruit fly cultures too early or too late. Theres no places near me that sells fruit flies so I have to get them shipped. But I finally have a hang on...
How are they doing did they all die or hatch yet? A while back my little one found my eggs & bumped the container. A few moved but still seem to be growing.
