I take a gallon jug, fill it up with facet water and shake. This helps to release the chlorine gases. I shake it several times a day and get good results. I also use this method when making iced tea. I leave it on the counter for an hour or so before drinking or putting it into the refrigerator.

At what age can you tell the sex of a cham?? And how difficult is it to raise a cham that is 4-6 weeks old? What would I have to be cautious of the most? Do you recommend working with baby veileds?

Just curious, who would you guys recommend to purchase a cham from? I see alot of stores on line but I am leary about getting a sick cham. How do they ship this little guys? I heard it was Fed Ex, but how do they package them so they are safe for the ride?

Thank you guys for the kind words. She was not mated so her eggs were empty. She did lay some before she died. I will eventually get another cham. I learned so much from raising her. She was a stress reducer as I loved to just sit and watch her. I want another veiled, a male this...

Saturday night she was in her sandbox digging her hole for her 2nd clutch. I checked her every couple hours. Sometime during the night her tunnel collapsed and suffocated her.
