Our Cosmo is around 5 months old ( i think). We were told he was 2 months old when we got him in October. What kind of feeding schedule should he be on at this age? He's currently getting at least 20 small crickets per day. When I have BSF larvae, he will get half larvae and half crickets...
I use flukers calcium dust w/o D3.
The fixture IS t5Ho the bulb is a T5 and is about 8-9 inches above his basking spot. I have the fixture sitting diagonally on the cage top.
His poops look normal, well formed and moist, not runny. Dark colored. Urates are white.
I feed him in the mornings...
I noticed the bowing when we got him and his casque has always had that weird shape.
Please review:

don't know if these pictures are any better. I did hold (briefly) a warm wash cloth to spot and some of it came off. He hasn't had a shed yet since we have had him.
all branches are from a maple tree. He's had the white patch ever since he fell of a branch about a month ago, started as a dark spot but is now white, doesn't seem to bother him, he moves well and eats well. I will try for a better picture, but since he hates me, close up are hard, lol
My little Cosmo has had what looks like dried poop or urates on his tail for several days. Is this normal? Could it be start of a shed? I'm not sure. Most is white but there is a bit of orange. I have some pics, hopefully they are clear enough to see what I'm talking about.
I bought Zoo Med's Reptivite with D3 for my 3 month old veiled cham. I have been using it twice per month. My concern is that the supplement seems really grainy, not dusty like calcium dust. I used a mortar and pestle and ground it up finer but my crickets still don't look very dusty when I...
I want to add a backdrop to my enclosure, to save the wall behind it from over misting. I'm thinking something like what is used on fish tanks, so it will go on the outside of my enclosure. Any ideas on where to look? The back panel of my enclosure is 30in x 30in. Thanks.
I have a T5 fixture bulb and fixture coming. His upper most basking branch is about 6 in from the top of the enclosure. So I will need to raise the T5 fixture about 2-3 inches, correct?
this is a picture of my son holding Cosmo, (the one time, he's been held) I measured my son's palm and it measures 3.5 inches from wrist to base of fingers. I don't know if this would help you get a sense as to how little he is. Thanks for your help

pictures of Cosmo's enclosure and more pics of just him. His enclosure is 30x18x30. Right now he has a mixture of real (umbrella tree and boston fern) and artificial plants. We have an LED grow light for the plants and and Reptisun combo light for heat and UVB. We also have a ceramic heater...
