My experience with Bonsai will aid you on this one. You gotta air layer one of the branches. Here we go....you will need a sharp utility knife, a small plastic plant pot you can cut a slit in, dirt and duct tape. This will take place ON the tree until roots grow!

;)Been watching the forums for awhile. I am originally from Hawaii, so I have had loads of Jacksons in my time. I currently own a few boas and pythons, and am in the market for a cham...the enclosure is complete! Just looking to get info and provide info to those who need it, not to mention make...
Spar varnish, similar to poly urathane, it has more UV protective qualities, used to seal wood boats amongst other things. High dollar stuff a quart can run 15-25 bucks. Shellac which I used is similar in price, but if your concern is the animal licking the wood shellac is all natural and non...
I have seen alot of these humidifier set ups. And as far as salt goes...depends on how much it steam without the salt. Water out here is super soft, so a lil salt can help. But over doing it will fog em out!

There is a link I found at kingsnake.com in the expo section. Not a huge show but its nice we have SOMETHING to go to out here. But the few vendors showing up have quality goods.
You can coat it yourself, most automotive places sell a rubberized spray on coating, or if your concern is the sharp edged, simply apply a few light coats of latex paint, it will eliminate the sharp edge and get you a nice color and look, not to mention prevent rust! Hope this helps, I built...
