Update!
Okay, so really, he's doing great.
Hubble, my panther baby, does not stop moving during the day. He hunts like a champ. Today I caught him drinking several times. And his color is showing that he's destressing.
I love this little guy to pieces!:D
Yes! Yeah, I don't think I was misting long enough. I am still working out all the little quirks of owning a cham. I had other reptiles before I moved, so I know that there are always a few kinks to work out.
I completely agree. Its very irresponsible of them to sell a 2 week old cham! To...
Someone posted on my thread saying that chams can push water through their eyes. I have watched my cham when I mist, and if some water bounces of the plants into his eyes it certainly looks like hes doing just that.
Hmm...i would love to see an article that supports that theory! Really neat...
Yeah, He just hates being sprayed..he freeks out. but i think it may be. hes just too active and happy...i couldnt imagine it being parasites.
Nope...he never sleeps during the day....hes all over the place.
I havent started his multivitamin regiment, because I only have had him for 1 week.

So whats all this talk about Compact UVB bulbs blinding or being horrible for chams? Does that really happen?Whats the science behind those comments? And if scientifically proven, why are they still on the market?
These people are wonderful. They know so much and jump in whenever you have a question.
Listen to them with an open heart and really consider them EXPERTS in the husbandry of chams. They have dealt with it all.
I got my little guy from a reptile shop and they told me some really crappy...
I just brought home a 2 week old panther cham and he has been feeding on pinhead crix and wingless fruit flies (the fruit flies are gutloaded Superfly).
The crix are a little faster than the flies....so you may have to experiment with what works best for your cham. Mine keeps up with them...
How long does it take for a baby panther cham to get accumulated to his new home? He's dark at times and unhappy seeming...then under the same conditions he is lively and happy and has a nice color to him. He eats a bunch and is very well hydrated (known from looking at his fecal matter)
Hes...
Anyone use Repashy Superfly for wingless fruit fly gutload?
Do you dust with calcium when using superfly? Theres supposedly a good amount of Calcium supplement in the gutload formula...but is it enough?
