Hey....so I have been looking for some articles about the Health of fly cultures and the signs of an unhealthy culture. I have found a few but it seems the information is limited to mold (green/blue being normal), mites, and death black dust.
I can't imagine those are the only things I need to...
Yeah I have been planning on going. I have been to Repticon before, but wasn't there for Chameleons at the time...so I don't remember how it was chameleon-wise!
Here's the list of exhibitors:

Sounds pretty good eh!
Well...you should also incorperate something about yourself into the name!
Maybe a character from your favorite movie that has your cham's personality?
Then his name would be more special to you!
I don't see how that could possibly be comfortable...
Then again, bugs don't make hungry and hanging upside down makes me dizzy.
So I guess I'm not a chameleon...darn! :D

I don't know! Your cham might just catch on to it! :)
It sounds like you want this animal to act exactly how you want it to, when you want it to.
Rather than trying to make the chameleon act the way you want it to, maybe you should try respecting it's boundaries by trying to figure out what it needs to feel comfortable with you.
Think about...
I have been wondering...
For example pothos and rubber plants are non toxic...
they also have the variegated version of those plants. Are those non toxic too?
I assume they are
Anyone know?
Maybe the lights are bothering him?
Where is he at when he is closing his eyes? Is he in the same location?
What lighting are you using? Bulbs...watts...etc.
oh and about dusting, just throw the fruitflies in a plastic bag with the shake them. Dont lather them completely, but cover them evenly and lightly.
I have started the supplement regimen everyone preaches here:
Calcium without D3 everyday
Calcium with D3 twice a month
Herpivite twice a...
