In a really weird way, this seems like it could work. The cheaper rodent bottles drip constantly...so maybe it could work like a dripper and also provide water readily? I don't know! Your cham might just catch on to it! :)

It sounds like you want this animal to act exactly how you want it to, when you want it to. Rather than trying to make the chameleon act the way you want it to, maybe you should try respecting it's boundaries by trying to figure out what it needs to feel comfortable with you. Think about...

I have been wondering... For example pothos and rubber plants are non toxic... they also have the variegated version of those plants. Are those non toxic too? I assume they are Anyone know?

Maybe the lights are bothering him? Where is he at when he is closing his eyes? Is he in the same location? What lighting are you using? Bulbs...watts...etc.
