So as some of you know i joined the forums not to long ago and posted pics of my what i found out to be (female) panther chameleon which i thought was a male but is it me or once ya get your first one ya want another one o.O because im deciding to get another panther he's only 3 months old is...
k so i figured it out i looked up it and it said the 5.0 should be used for chams from being a baby until 8 months then anything from 8 months up a 10.0 should be used
smallest i could get over here by me was 20'' is that going to be a problem like for instance could it possibly melt the plastic part on the edges of the cage o.O
kk so an 18 inch uv i can use any lamp for the uv correct cause the one i have now has both sides one for uv and other is for heat but the cage i have for her is smaller then the new one shes going to be going into
i mean if i was to do it i wasnt planning on doing it for the money it would be awesome to see the whole process of which new life was produced in front of your face its very interesting to me but i did send pictures to the people im getting the male from who is absolutely beautiful even tho...
kk awesome ty very much every one once again =D i do and will most likely have a lot of questions since shes my first cham n shes a panther im planning on getting another and its gonnae be a male ambilobe not sure exactly what she is but thats what i get from getting her from a local pet store -_-
i mean its only when i turn on the lamp ill leave her alone just go over there to put the lamp on idk if it could be her yawning cause she just woke up thats if they even do that but after she does that she goes back to normal i mean i was told that they do that sometimes cause it can be to hot...
ya she gapes it doesnt happen often once in a while shell do it she opens her mouth as wide as she can her flap comes out on the bottom and she scruntches her body up and usually looks to the side but its in a violent matter usually happens when i turn on her heat lamp for her in the morning
Once in a while it looks like shes gonna explode i dont know whats wrong with her she doesnt do this often but sometimes it looks like she is having a seizure shell expand herself and it looks like shes going to throw up her whole body shakes for a second and she looks like shes in a lot of pain...
Ok and one more question can you breed them way before hand even if the female isnt showing any signs of having a clutch just out of curiosity and so basically always keep them separate unless your going to breed them im just confused on that whole aspect like as in should you breed them when...
Is it ok to house a male and female panther together or should the only time they were to be together is if you were going to breed them cause i've read you shouldn't keep chameleons together cause they are very territorial i just want to double check and be 100% positive
