    Gravid??

I've set up a 5L bin with playsand. I don't really have room for another. If she starts roaming more, and not eating, but is not using it, I'll try other substrates. About some of the other questions: I don't know if she came in gravid or mated at the reptile store where she was housed...

    Gravid??

She's even bigger now, and starting to move around the cage. Still eating though, so I guess it will still be awhile.

Ideas as to where to put my quad eggs

Look into wine Coolers at someplace like Brandsmart. Usually cheaper than minifridges and high temps are around 65, most fridges are below 55.

    Gravid??

Or just puffed up? She was sitting in the plant pot the last two days so I swapped the pot for a laying bin. Looks a bit bigger than she was, but still eating and not roaming. Your thoughts? [/IMG] [/IMG] [/IMG]

    Melleri Egg Laying!!

So you think they dried out as they were hatching? Did you keep the containers open once they pipped? Were they subjected to a bad temp spike during hatching before the AC went on? Because I don't understand how the AC could dry out inside the sealed rubbermaids.... And please...

    Melleri Egg Laying!!

OK, I just read your other hatching thread. I'll try to find the one setting forth your methods. I personally like perlite or perlite/sand if I suspect I've been keeping them too wet, instead of vermiculite. The larger granules are good for air circulation, too. For the perlite I bury them...

    Melleri Egg Laying!!

I have a suggestion for you since you have had eggs before which had problems during incubation. When I was trying to learn how to incubate a species known to be difficult(not a Cham, but that should not matter), and had a lot of eggs, I split the clutches and tried different methods: one...

    Thoughts on Cooling Montanes??

No basking light, uvb only. I do probably need to add a plant light though. I'll look into moving them over the weekend.

    Thoughts on Cooling Montanes??

OK, I have had my pair of T. Deremensis a couple of weeks now. They are currently set up in my family room. My central air is set at 74-5 but struggles to keep those temps during the hot months. We've had a few hot days and thermometer on the ac says 81 by the end of the day. Tempgun shows...

    Schefflera

Yeah, it might be needing the plant light. I really did not want any more heat for the deremenis though....

Do these things normally shed a lot of leaves or is it my black thumb? Thanks.

    Can Chameleons Swim????

Awhile back we were looking for Veileds at one of the Florida locales. I spotted a female on a branch overhanging the other side of a small canal. My friend took a very long branch and reached over the canal to try to capture her. He accidentaly knocked her down into the canal instead. She...

I have a big tree in the yard. Anybody ever use them in gutload? And before anyone asks, not fertilized or treated with pesticides.
