I've set up a 5L bin with playsand. I don't really have room for another. If she starts roaming more, and not eating, but is not using it, I'll try other substrates.
About some of the other questions:
I don't know if she came in gravid or mated at the reptile store where she was housed...
Or just puffed up?
She was sitting in the plant pot the last two days so I swapped the pot for a laying bin. Looks a bit bigger than she was, but still eating and not roaming.

So you think they dried out as they were hatching? Did you keep the containers open once they pipped? Were they subjected to a bad temp spike during hatching before the AC went on?
Because I don't understand how the AC could dry out inside the sealed rubbermaids....

OK, I just read your other hatching thread. I'll try to find the one setting forth your methods.
I personally like perlite or perlite/sand if I suspect I've been keeping them too wet, instead of vermiculite. The larger granules are good for air circulation,too.
For the perlite I bury them...

OK, I have had my pair of T. Deremensis a couple of weeks now.
They are currently set up in my family room. My central air is set at 74-5 but struggles to keep those temps during the hot months. We've had a few hot days and thermometer on the ac says 81 by the end of the day.
